Star Wars Telescopic Lightsaber

This is the best! I got this as a joke for May the 4th but it’s surprsingly good quality, lights up and makes noise! The only thing that’s annoying is it doesn’t compress completely into the saber.

Bought this about a month or 2 ago. My son still has it, and loves to play with it. It’s pretty sturdy, and lights up great. The sound also works well. Great buy for the price 🙂

Saber doesn’t telescope down all the way and doesn’t hold itself in. The telescoping on this one is only good for the initial opening of light saber coolness, otherwise useless. Light isn’t very bright unless in complete darkness.

After months of searching, we’ve finally found Luke’s for her, and Anakin’s before the both of them) blue light saber! The lights and sounds are cool, the hand grip on the hilt is good, and the battery lasts a good long time. The telescoping feature seems to be better-constructed, and doesn’t loosen as easily with use.

Acquired this for a costume, however I did not realize that the blade does not fully retract into the hilt, and if you try to hang it properly from a belt (blade down) there is no way to keep the blade from extending. Great as a toy for play, less so for a costume piece which leaves me a little disappointed as this seemed at first blush to be a good balance between sturdiness and price.

First let me say that it took over 2 months to receive this item and it was “in stock” at the time of order. Suffice to say that the birthday it was for had long past by the time it arrived. Second, this is not as long nor is it the same quality as previous lightsabers we have purchased. This may be a reflection of all newer lightsabers or of this one in particular. The one I am comparing it to is several years old so I do not know how it compares to those currently available for purchase elsewhere.
